Hi, LegacyFile exists because I got tired of the racket around old file formats.

The formats that move real money — BAI2, EDI, NACHA, QBO — were mostly designed decades ago, and the tooling around them never got better. It just got more expensive. If you need to open a bank file whose spec was written in 1987, someone will happily charge you $400 a year for the privilege. That's not software; that's a toll booth.

So I'm fixing it one format at a time. Each tool here runs entirely in your browser — no uploads, no signup, no trial that expires the week you actually need it. The basics are free. If a tool saves you real time, a single one-time license removes the limits on every tool here, and that's the whole business model.
